Since 2011, NITEKO has been designing and manufacturing lighting solutions for street, urban and large areas.

We were founded on a firm conviction, which still drives and guides us today: to take responsibility for the technical solutions we offer our clients, not only in practical terms of their feasibility and durability but also, and above all, in environmental and human terms.

In a market where the word ‘innovation’ has become nothing more than a marketing gimmick, we have decided to treat it as an essential requirement, a design constraint.
We believe that only what is truly cutting-edge can also aspire to be enduring, because it is capable of engaging with the needs of clients and the changing times, thereby aiming to progress and improve further.

This conviction has been clear right from the start: we began as a university research project and even today, now that we have become a business, we still feel the need to ask questions before even seeking the answers, and we believe that scientific rigour and care for the environment are one and the same thing, albeit expressed in different fields.

This is what makes it possible to achieve a level of quality that no form of automation will ever be able to replicate; not because machines are any less precise, but because the care that a person puts into their work brings with it added value: an awareness of the context, the ability to adapt to the project’s requirements, and direct responsibility for the outcome.

NITEKO products embody all of this. They are durable, because a product that breaks or needs to be replaced is a waste of energy and money.
We offer one of the longest warranties in the market, a decision that stems from our confidence in the quality of our products and is backed up by our data: to date, of all the installations carried out in Italy and across Europe, only 0.57 per cent have been replaced due to faults caused by weather conditions. Our technical lighting solutions are customisable, because every context is different: the amount of light required, the layout of the road, the weather conditions, and the technical requirements of the tender specifications.

We do not simply adapt a standard solution to a need, but build a bespoke solution tailored to that specific requirement.
It is certainly a slower and more labour-intensive approach, but that is precisely why it works.

Mission

We start from the conviction that guides every choice we make: building something that lasts is, in itself, an act of environmental responsibility. We design and manufacture bespoke LED lighting systems for public spaces, infrastructure and large-scale areas, with the aim of genuinely and continuously improving the quality of places and the lives of the people who inhabit them.

Every solution we offer begins with listening, to the client’s specific requirements, to the context in which the product will exist, and to the expectations of those who pass through these spaces every day. It is precisely from this act of listening that a tailored response takes shape, entrusted to skilled people who do not disappear after delivery but remain alongside our clients as a constant point of reference throughout the product’s entire life cycle.

We do not merely sell products. We build solutions that last, over time, in places, and in relationships with those who choose them.

Vision

We envisage a lighting industry in which sustainability is a prerequisite for operating at all. A sector in which every design choice, from materials to consumption, from photometrics to durability, is also assessed in terms of its impact on the local area and on future generations.

It is precisely in keeping with this principle that we developed and launched Lorelux, the first brand of lamps made from recycled polymer, which adds eco-sustainable, long-lasting design to the reduction in consumption already guaranteed by LED technology.
Every NITEKO fixture installed in a public space is designed to last, to consume as little as possible, and to avoid premature replacements that generate wasted resources and hidden costs.
This is the tangible measure of our approach to sustainability.

We want to be the point of reference for those who share this vision: designers, public authorities, distributors and suppliers who are not satisfied with the standard and are looking for a partner capable of thinking alongside them, project after project, with the same care and the same ambition.

Our roots are in Puglia. Our horizon is European. We believe that innovation and responsibility are not in tension with one another, but are one and the same thing, expressed through light.

Because for NITEKO, care for the environment begins right at home.

NITEKO’s headquarters is far more than a workplace: it is the tangible expression of the values that guide everything we do. The building has been designed to NZEB (Nearly Zero Energy Building) standards, the first of its kind in Puglia, meaning near-zero energy consumption, integrating advanced technological solutions for energy efficiency, the generation of energy from renewable sources, and maximum comfort for those who work there every day.

An environment designed to minimise environmental impact, where sustainability and innovation are not mere statements of intent but translate into tangible architectural, engineering and operational choices.

The R&D Department is the beating heart of NITEKO, the place where innovation and vision are transformed into concrete solutions, designed by engineers specializing in electronics, mechanics and automation to anticipate the needs of an ever-evolving market.

Customer Care

Once the system is up and running, the NITEKO team remains available to the client throughout the entire life cycle of the installation.
